The 415A (Eveready 415 or BLR102) is an Alkaline replacement for the once-popular Carbon Zinc battery that was commonly used in VOM's (Volt-Ohm Meters - an analog meter that reads Voltage, Ohms, and Milliamperes). It was also commonly used in radios as the HT (High Tension) supply. Being Alkaline, the 415A replacement will last longer than the original.
